THE COURSE:

This one-day, introductory course will give students an exciting opportunity to:

  • learn how to construct a figurative ceramic sculpture from a live model

  • practice techniques of ceramic sculpture building

  • develop techniques of 3D form observation

  • use expressive mark making in clay

At the end of the day, you will have produced at least one sculpture for firing.

The price of £120 includes a life model, use of tools, all materials and firing of your final work

OUR TUTOR

Rebecca Lyne has 15 years’ experience as a tutor of both life drawing and sculpture. She has a BA Hons in Fine Art Sculpture and part of a collaborative sculpting team (Parr and Lyne), Rebecca was a finalist in the Founders’ Prize for Figurative Sculpture in 2004
